After his education as high voltage electrician at Dyckerhoff; which lasted from 1969 to 1973, Heinz Engelhardt worked as electrician at the Amöneburg plant. Following his qualification as master electrician, he was employed in the Central Technical Department from 1977. Since 1990 he has been member of the Works Council of the Dyckerhoff headquarters, and has been its Chairman since 2009. Additionally, he became Chairman of the Joint Works Council of Dyckerhoff AG in 2010. He has been elected to the Supervisory Board as employee representative.
