Dyckerhoff at the European Coatings Show

Every two years, the European Coatings Show (ECS) in Nuremberg focuses on innovations in paints and coatings. Over 1,000 exhibitors from around 40 countries present their top trends in the fields of surface coatings, adhesives and sealants as well as construction chemicals. Visit us: Hall 7, Booth No. 513!

These innovations are regularly driven by the topics of sustainability and price increases as well as further developments in nanotechnology or environmentally friendly or photocatalytically effective coatings.

Exhibitors include manufacturers of paints, lacquers, adhesives, sealants, printing inks or construction chemicals, raw material suppliers and industrial processors. Dyckerhoff is also going to exhibit at the trade fair this year for the second time - from March 19 to 21, 2019. The company has a whole range of innovative binders for a wide variety of applications in its portfolio:

Dyckerhoff became particularly known for its "Dyckerhoff WEISS" brand, which today is often used as a synonym for white Portland cement. Dyckerhoff's white cements are almost all suitable for the production of high-quality plasters and mortars, e.g. Dyckerhoff WEISS CONTACT, which was specially developed for the production of construction chemical products such as laying mortars and grouts.

In addition to its white cements, Dyckerhoff is also showing Dyckerhoff MIKRODUR in Nuremberg, a special binder based on ultrafine cement technology. In a special manufacturing process, the finest Portland cement clinker and granulated blast furnace slag components of extreme fineness are obtained from separating.

By selectively incorporating the finest components into approved standard cements from Dyckerhoff, special properties such as high final strength, rapid strength development and resistance to chemical attack (e.g. Dyckerhoff VARIODUR or Dyckerhoff SULFADUR) can be variably adjusted.

Other innovative products include Buzzi Unicem Next base, a cement based on calcium sulfoaluminate clinker (category CSA cements) - an environmentally compatible alternative to Portland clinker because during its production significantly less carbon dioxide is released. With Next base, it is possible to create mortars and concretes with a broad performance spectrum that can be used for many concrete, mortar and chemical construction products. These include fast-setting dry mortars and shotcrete as well as fast-setting concretes for precast elements or low-shrinkage screeds and repair mortars for interior and exterior use.

During the trade fair, Dyckerhoff employees will be happy to answer your questions and present our innovative products to you. You will find us in the Exhibition Center Nuremberg - Hall 7, Booth No. 513.

We are looking forward to your visit!
