In Russia we hold a majority interest (around 90 %) in an in­te­grat­ed cement plant at the Suchoi Log location, near Eka­te­rin­burg. The cement capacity at this plant was 2.4 million tons. In December 2010, our new kiln line started operation, so that ca­pac­ity in Russia increased to 3.6 million tons (from 2.4 million tons). In addition to the standard gray cements, well ce­ments are of particular importance to the plant’s volume, given its proximity to the oil and gas fields in the Tyumen region.

Our volume of cement and other hydraulic binding agents was at 2.8 million tons in 2012.
