Germany

In Germany, we operate two grinding plants, at the Neuss and Neuwied sites, plus five integrated cement plants, in Wiesbaden (Amöneburg), Göllheim, Geseke, Lengerich, and Deuna. Our German plants have a total cement capacity of 7.2 million tons. Including exports we sold almost 4.8 million tons of cement and other hydraulic binding agents in 2010.

Additionally, we possess 132 ready-mixed concrete plants, which are combined in 20 companies. Our ready-mixed concrete locations are mainly situated in the middle and the eastern part of Germany: in North Rhine-Westphalia, Rhineland-Palatinate, Saarland, Hesse, Berlin, Brandenburg, Saxony and Thuringia. From the beginning of 2008, Dyckerhoff is represented in the North of Germany, too. By taking over ready-mixed concrete plants from the so far associated Sievert AG & Co. KG by mid 2010, we have continued increasing our market exposure in that region. The 2010 volume of ready-mixed concrete was aound 3.2 million m³.

We also operate two aggregate quarries, which sold a total of approximately 0.5 million tons of aggregates in 2010.
