Acquisition of Five Plants from Lichtner-Dyckerhoff Beton Effective October 1, 2026

Effective October 1, 2026, Dyckerhoff Beton GmbH & Co. KG will acquire five of the six plants currently operated by the joint venture Lichtner-Dyckerhoff GmbH & Co. KG. The Berlin sites in Prenzlauer Berg, Reinickendorf, Teltow, and Spandau, as well as the Niederlehme/Königs Wusterhausen plant in Brandenburg, will in future be managed by the Dyckerhoff Beton Elbe-Spree branch. The ready-mix concrete plant in Strausberg will remain with Lichtner Beton.

“The entire team is highly motivated, and we will further strengthen our presence in the Berlin ready-mix concrete market in the future,” says Carsten Scherer, Head of the Elbe-Spree branch. Dyckerhoff plans to continue operating the five plants. Customer relationships and ongoing delivery commitments will also be transferred.

Dyckerhoff is an internationally active manufacturer of cement and ready-mix concrete. In Germany, we operate seven cement plants and approximately 110 ready-mix concrete plants. Additional production sites are located in Luxembourg, the Netherlands, and several Eastern European countries.
