Concrete Art in Frankfurt's Städel Garden

Artwork with Dyckerhoff white cement creates new perspectives in the garden of the Frankfurt Städel Museum

"Color Master F" - this name Manuel Franke has given his monumental, 50-meter long art object that currently gives a spatial limitation to the garden of Frankfurt's Städel Museum. An orange corrugated sheet membrane is embedded in a base made of radiant blue colored concrete elements based on Dyckerhoff WEISS FACE. Dyckerhoff white cement is particularly well-suited for the production of colored components, as the pigmentation is brought to bear clearly through the the pigmentation is brought to bear through the bright intrinsic color of the material.

A total of 11.2 tons of Dyckerhoff's white cement FACE were used for the sculpture. The blue color pigments were supplied by Scholz Farben, Partenstein. The concrete elements were manufactured by the Betonmanufaktur Kleemann, Rodgau.
