Award for the first CSC Platinum certificates in version 3.0

At BAU in Munich, our colleague Dr. Scheidt (on the right in the cover picture) received the award for the first CSC Platinum certificates (Concrete Sustainability Council) in the new version 3.0 at the DGNB stand. This award recognizes Dyckerhoff for the excellent and diverse management systems and the 100% CSC Gold certified cements from our own cement plants, which have enabled us to achieve platinum status - a foundation we can be proud of.

The CSC certificate is a global certification system for companies in the concrete, cement and aggregates sectors that aims towards sustainable production. It certifies ecologically, socially and economically responsible actions.

In order to achieve platinum status, at least 75% of the aggregates used must also be CSC-certified. It should therefore be particularly emphasized that the path to this award was also made possible by our CSC-certified suppliers. Without them, this success would not have been possible. For us, it is a clear sign of partnership that we have achieved the highest level of sustainability in the building materials sector.

The ready-mix concrete plants in Bad Honnef, Remagen, Leverkusen, Aachen, Mogendorf and Düsseldorf have now been certified according to the new version 3.0. The Mülsen and Wissen plants have also been awarded platinum certification under the old version. A proud moment for Dyckerhoff and all those who have contributed to this success!
