Round-the-clock Concreting for new Frankfurt Skyscraper

Dyckerhoff supplies cement and concrete for ONE skyscraper. The foundation was concreted around the clock for three days.

ONE by CA Immo - this is the name of the new office and hotel high-rise that is currently being built in Frankfurt at the interface of the banking district, trade fair and European quarter. After completion scheduled for 2021, ONE will be the sixth tallest high-rise building in Germany with 190 meters and 49 storeys. Our photos show the concreting of the foundation.

The more than three meter thick foundation had to be concreted in one piece, 8,000 m³ of concrete of strength class C 30/37 were required. Dyckerhoff's blast furnace cement CEM III/A 32.5 N-LH/NA from the Amöneburg plant was the basis for the production of the concrete. Dyckerhoff will also supply the concrete for the ceilings and walls of the ONE high-rise, totalling around 65,000 m³.
